I am a mother, a grandmother, a teacher, and a passionate advocate for children. I believe in creating a healthy, safe, and fun learning environment where every child can thrive. At the same time, I aim to give parents peace of mind, knowing their child is well cared for and building a strong foundation

Carmie serves as the Director and Lead Teacher at Full STEAM Ahead Enrichment Center. She is deeply committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education and believes it is one of the most meaningful investments in shaping the future of our children.
Carmie holds formal education in Child Development and Early Childhood Education and brings over 30 years of experience working with young children. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles—from classroom aide to administrator—while remaining a passionate advocate for children and their developmental needs.
One of Carmie’s greatest joys is witnessing a child’s sense of wonder as they make new discoveries and watching that curiosity grow into deeper understanding and enthusiasm for learning.
Outside of her professional work, Carmie enjoys spending quality time with her family, playing games, caring for her home, and exploring both new and familiar places. She also enjoys crafting, reading, and taking time to relax and recharge.

Kay has a background in health and safety and owns a small safety consulting business, which helps her create safe, supportive spaces for children to learn and grow. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management. As an early childhood teacher, she proudly wears many hats—boo-boo healer, snack dealer, craft lady, and definatley the silliest one in the room!
Outside the classroom, you’ll find her shopping at secondhand stores, swimming and exploring the PNW with her children, and spending quality time with extended family.

Raquel discovered dance later than most, which could have been a disadvantage, but her grit, hard work, and determination have fueled her passion for creating an environment where young children can “move with music.” She continues taking dance classes, hones her skills at conventions, and is earning certificates in personal growth and fitness. Today, she channels that same drive into giving children what she feels she missed—helping them build a strong foundation to grow, explore, and thrive. In her free time, you’ll find her dancing, listening to music, and… more dancing—curious, creative, and always moving to the beat!
