Carmie is the Director and Lead Teacher at Full STEAM Ahead Enrichment Center, where she is dedicated to providing high-quality early childhood education during the formative preschool years. She believes these early years are a critical foundation for lifelong learning, helping children develop confidence, curiosity, creativity, and the skills needed to thrive.
With formal education in Child Development and Early Childhood Education, Carmie brings over 30 years of experience working with young children in classroom settings. Throughout her career, she has served in roles ranging from classroom aide to administrator, giving her a broad understanding of child development and the importance of creating nurturing, intentional learning environments.
Carmie draws from a variety of child development philosophies and best practices to support children both individually and as part of a classroom community. She believes in balancing child-led exploration with purposeful guidance, creating an environment where children feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
One of Carmie’s greatest joys is witnessing a child’s sense of wonder as they explore, discover, and build confidence in their abilities. She is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that encourage curiosity, connection, and a lifelong love of learning.

Kay brings a unique blend of early childhood education, health and safety expertise, and boundless enthusiasm to the classroom. As the owner of a small health and safety consulting business, she is passionate about creating environments where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence. Her commitment to providing safe, nurturing spaces gives families added peace of mind while allowing children to explore, discover, and thrive. She is also currently pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resource Management, reflecting her dedication to lifelong learning and leadership.
In the classroom, Kay proudly wears many hats—boo-boo healer, snack dealer, creative mastermind, biggest cheerleader, and quite possibly the silliest person in the room! She believes that children learn best through laughter, meaningful relationships, and hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and joy.
When she's not teaching, you'll likely find Kay treasure hunting at secondhand stores, swimming, exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, or making memories with her family. Her love of adventure, creativity, and community shines through in everything she does, both inside and outside the classroom.

Raquel discovered dance later than many of her peers, but what could have been a setback became her greatest source of inspiration. Her journey taught her that it's never too late to grow, build confidence, and discover your strengths. Today, she uses that experience to help young children believe in themselves, develop strong bodies and minds, and experience the pure joy of movement through music.
Driven by grit, determination, and a lifelong love of learning, Raquel continues to expand her own dance education by taking choreograpy classes, attending conventions, and earning certifications. Raquel currently works at another local studio aiding aspiring young dancers to use their imaginations to guide their inner prince or princess.
She is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to explore, learn, and thrive—all while having so much fun.
In her free time, you'll find Raquel dancing, listening to music, and… more dancing! Curious, creative, and always moving to the beat, she brings that same joyful energy into every class she teaches.
